Strengthening Local Governance for Health (HealthGov) Program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International. HealthGov is USAID's flagship effort to strengthen LGUs' commitment and support for public health services and their capacity to provide and manage quality health services sustainably, particularly FP, MCH, TB and HIV/AIDS services.
Global Fund HIV/AIDS Program

PNGOC, in partnership with the Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), Department of Health (DOH) and Tropical Disease Foundation (TDF), has been designated as the sub recipient in the implementation of the Global Fund (GF) assisted program entitled Accelerating STI and HIV/AIDS Prevention Through Intensified Delivery of Services to Vulnerable Groups and People Living with HIV/AIDS in Strategic Areas in the Philippines.
In the beginning of 2004, PNGOC led a six month“Mass Mobilization Campaign for Population and RH,” aimed at generating support for RH programs among national and local legislators for the 2004 national elections.

The Philippines joined other countries yesterday in marking World Population Day with new mothers packed two to a single bed, nursing their babies in government hospitals. 26 maternal deaths recorded in Cordi
