About PNGOC
Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare, Inc. (PNGOC) was founded on June 24, 1987 by 17 Philippine NGOs with the objective of becoming the voice of population and development advocates within the NGO, government and funding circles.

Orientation of Local Broadcasters on RP-NFP Using the Broadcaster’s Manual

The Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare Inc. (PNGOC) in partnership with the Commission on Population (POPCOM) will initiate a project that will bring the local media practitioners, specifically, radio broadcasters, in an effort to spread knowledge on Responsible Parenthood, Respect for Life, Birth Spacing, Breast feeding and Informed Choice. 
Local Media and Community Mobilization in Support of Reproductive Health Bill

House Bill 5043 entitled “Reproductive Health, Responsible Parenthood, and Population Management Act of 2008” is now being deliberated in the Upper House of Philippine Congress.  The Bill aims to provide an explicit government policy to ensure that reproductive health information and services are available and accessible to the poor and hard to reach marginalized population.

Well Baby Bakuna Program is a partnership that brings NGO (Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare, Inc.), government (Dept. of Health), the business sector (GlaxoSmithKline) and the Philppine Pediatric Society Inc, in a program that aims to provide Access, Awareness and Affordable vaccines to families from these income brackets. For pediatricians, this will also serve as social commitment in their health profession and improve their income for clinic sustainability.
